Featuring Def 3
(Intro)
We ready
Yea, check
(Verse)
I used to wanna be a D boy but I never had the upper body
I cut it up while I hook at Ali while I chop karate
Had a shotty six, stepped it in, impressed nobody
And when I hit the dance I crash like kamikaze
So instead picked up the mic and now I rock the party
And people love me like De Rulo from my ladi dadi
I'm tryna text, I'm putting rings up in yo grill like Audi
But when this mic is in my hand I get it in like Fonzi
One thing I know is you should hold on to your heavy days
Like Trub said, you need to try and find your happy place
Don't let yo struggles get you down, put on yo happy face
Or add a little leisure love for those that passed away
Used to smoke a pack a day, now I'm down to weekends
Working on my discipline but limit to my weakness
Watch me so whaddup, you know the flow is always seemless
Def 3, I've been ready ever since I was a ceiling
(Hook)
We ready
For wherever this life goes, wherever this life goes
We run with it, run with it
We ready
So we open the windows
We're letting the wind blow, it's life and we lovin it
We ready
For wherever this life goes, wherever this life goes
We run with it, run with it
We ready
Oh yea, it doesn't matter
The higher the ladder, man we feel inclined to the supplement
(Verse)
A lot of dudes think they shine 'cause they're shiny
I like my beats glimy not steam and please sign
I'm also not a hater though,
I hope they all finally make it to the peak
Of whatever mountain it is they're climbing
But they already think they're on top of the world like Eskimos
And I can tell they have no heart, the microphone's my stethoscope
Pay attention though, me and my dogs best in the show
You and your dogs neutered, no testicles
You can't compete with us, we're in a different class
Not even deep enough so how the fuck you getting past us
Dude, you're getting ahead of yourself
You probably got ribs and move to give head to yourself
You're your own biggest fan and it's sad to watch
But your success it's a myth like the sasquatch
And you can keep on yelling how you have shit locked
But you are really just a laughing stock, you ain't ready
(Hook)
