Prince Paul (nato Paul Edward Huston) è un produttore discografico, DJ e beatmaker statunitense nato a New York nel 1968. Considerato uno dei pionieri della musica hip hop underground, Prince Paul ha collaborato con artisti come De La Soul, Gravediggaz e The Beastie Boys. Il suo stile musicale è caratterizzato da campionamenti creativi, ritmi complessi e un'atmosfera spesso surreale. Tra i suoi album più noti figurano "A Prince Among Thieves" (1990) e "The Greatest Hits" (2003). Prince Paul ha anche lavorato come produttore per artisti di diversi generi musicali, tra cui The Roots e Mos Def. La sua influenza sul panorama musicale hip hop è stata significativa, contribuendo a definire l'estetica e la sonorità dell'underground negli anni '90.
