Even when it ain't perfect (perfect)
Everything is always worth it (worth it)
Even when it ain't perfect
Every day is perfect with you
I remember when my car broke down (uh huh)
Blocking traffic in the middle of the town (uh huh)
We turned the radio up and rolled the windows down
You looked into my eyes and told me baby ain't no such thing as a perfect day
Like remember when it rained on my birthday last year
Then the sun came up up up my dear
And I knew that you were down down down with me
Life is messy messy but I'm never second guessing
Through all these fucked up lessons I learned to count my blessings
Even when it ain't perfect (no no no)
Everything is always worth it (yeah yeah yeah)
Even when it ain't perfect
Every day is perfect with you
Even when it ain't perfect (no no no)
Everything is always worth it (yeah yeah yeah)
Even when it ain't perfect
Every day is perfect with you
Remember when we couldn't pay the bills (nope)
Couldn't afford the Netflix, but we were still chill (chill, chill)
Couldn't afford insurance, but we were still ill (ill, ill)
Stranger things in life but we was running up that hill
Perfect's over-rated, everything I ever hated
If perfect went away, I'd forever be elated
People tryna tell me what to think
And people tryna tell me that their shit don't stink (mine does)
Life is messy messy but I'm never second guessing
Through all these fucked up lessons I learned to count my blessings
Even when it ain't perfect (no no no)
Everything is always worth it (yeah yeah yeah)
Even when it ain't perfect
Every day is perfect with you
Even when it ain't perfect (no no no)
Everything is always worth it (yeah yeah yeah)
Even when it ain't perfect
Every day is perfect
Every single day with you
Every single day with you
Even when the skies ain't blue
Every day is perfect with you
I remember when my car broke down (uh huh)
Blocking traffic in the middle of the town (oh no)
You turned the radio up up up (what)
And I knew that you were down down down with me
Even when it ain't perfect (no no no)
Everything is always worth it (yeah yeah yeah)
Even when it ain't perfect
Every day is perfect with you
Every single day with you (even when it ain't perfect)
Every single day with you (everything is always worth it)
Even when the skies ain't blue (even when it ain't perfect)
Every day is perfect with you
