GWAR è una band di shock rock statunitense formatasi a Richmond, Virginia, nel 1984. Conosciuta per i suoi costumi elaborati ispirati al cinema di fantascienza e horror, testi volgari e spettacoli teatrali espliciti che rielaborano temi politicamente e moralmente controversi in chiave comica. La band ha vinto due nomination ai Grammy Award. Il loro genere musicale è un mix di heavy metal, punk rock e thrash metal con influenze progressive. Tra i brani più rappresentativi: "This Toilet Earth", "Sick of You", "El Presidente".
