Cryptic Wintermoon è un gruppo musicale formatosi nel 1993. Il loro genere musicale si colloca nell'ambito del gothic metal e dell'ambient dark. La band ha pubblicato diversi album, tra cui "Of Shadows ... and the Dark Things You Fear", "A Coming Storm", "Cryptic Wintermoon", "Voyage Dans la Lune" e "The Age of Cataclysm". Nonostante una discreta fanbase nel panorama underground musicale, Cryptic Wintermoon non ha raggiunto un'ampia notorietà mainstream.
