Put your back to mine when your back's against the wall,
Put your back to mine and together we stand or we fall
I wish that I could see I, I always choose
To walk my way alone and not with you
I've got to lose my pride and let You
Help me, I know you ease my mind
When my life falls around me
No matter what I do you always care
Love without measure no strings and no fear
Well, I'm back on the wax with the funky max track
Coming loud out proud C-O-R in effect,
Talk about the kind of friend that will never ever let you down
The kind of love that I found to be faithful true and real
Always let you be yourself never tell you what to feel
A friend will let you be the you that you were meant to be
Next time you need a friend, c'mon lean on me
(Repeat chorus)
You can count of me to be the friend I should be
Won't no one put you down when I'm around
R-E-S-P-E-C-T is what I give to you and you give to me
In trouble you will find your back to mine
Well money can't buy friends like the friends I have
They want me to be the best but they take me where I'm at
Never get to get to going when the going get's rough,
Stick it out stick around to help a friend hang tough,
So what's up with ya Bro can ya go where you know
Where no one'll interrupt your flow when you're laid low
If you need a friend then I'm yours truly
If you're Charlie Brown, then I'm Snoopy
(Repeat chorus)
