Alan Parsons è un musicista e produttore inglese nato nel 1948. Iniziò la sua carriera come ingegnere del suono, collaborando con artisti di fama mondiale come Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Paul McCartney, The Hollies e Al Stewart. È noto soprattutto per il suo lavoro su *The Dark Side of the Moon* (1973) dei Pink Floyd, album considerato uno dei più grandi della storia del rock. Nel 1974 formò il gruppo Alan Parsons Project, con cui ottenne successo internazionale negli anni '70 e '80. Il progetto ha pubblicato numerosi album di musica progressive, spesso caratterizzati da arrangiamenti complessi e testi filosofici. Alcuni dei brani più rappresentativi del suo lavoro sono *Eye in the Sky*, *Sirius*, *Games People Play* e *Time*. Alan Parsons continua a produrre musica e tenere concerti.
