Silverstein è una band canadese di post-hardcore originaria di Burlington, Ontario, formatasi nel 2000. Il nome della band deriva dall'autore per l'infanzia Shel Silverstein. Il gruppo ha raggiunto popolarità negli anni 2000 con album come "When Broken Is Easily Fixed" (2003) e "Discovering the Waterfront" (2005), caratterizzati da sonorità aggressive e melodie orecchiabili. Tra i brani più noti di Silverstein figurano "Smile in Your Sleep", "The Door", e "It's Over". La band ha attraversato diverse fasi stilistiche, esplorando elementi di emo, pop punk e alternative rock. Nel corso degli anni hanno collaborato con artisti come The Used e Alexisonfire.
