Aye-aye
I put it on my life, I ain't tryna hold back
Goin' all-in like I can't turn back
I was always thinkin', "How this shit gon' make me feel?"
I been contemplatin', "Will I ever sign a deal?"
Just to keep it real with you
I been hustlin', I been tusslin', I been grindin'
Just so I can see another day where I be shinin'
Niggas actin' like they really love me, but they lyin'
Fuck it, who am I to be judgin' all the time?
Had to be cuttin' ties with my own peeps
I struggle with no sleep, I get it when I need
I'm feelin' it might be another classic
I been on my own for the most, by madness
I been on the coast, white smoke, a bad one
With me never had one, feel me tryna balance
I don't need no cameras to show me where I'm standin', ayy
I just hope you understand it
I've been holding me down for a minute, like
Don't let me down (Down), don't let me drown
I've been holding me down for a minute, like
Don't let me down (Down), don't let me drown
I've been holding me down for a minute, like
Don't let me down (Down), don't let me drown
I've been holding me down for a minute, like
Don't let me down (Down), don't let me drown
Put it on my life, said it twice, on the line, took a flight
Overseas with the bags and a bag and my wallet
I'll be damned if they stop me in my tracks
Understand, there's no Plan B
Only gonna say 'cause I'm everything I can be
Fancy, oh, you fancy
Now you ain't tryna hang 'cause you really might be
Thinkin' that I really could, you imagining things
Everybody watchin' this is how I'm handlin' things
Get a check for a show by allowin' the shit
Been a man with it since I was in Pampers and shit
Ain't no pamperin' since I put the stamp on it quick
And I'm back in it, ain't nobody backin' and shit
Homegrown by the pros, don't stand with the shit
I ain't mad, I just hope you understand what this is
I ain't mad, I just hope you understand what it is
I've been holding me down for a minute, like
Don't let me down (Down), don't let me drown
I've been holding me down for a minute, like
Don't let me down (Down), don't let me drown
I've been holding me down for a minute, like
Don't let me down (Down), don't let me drown
I've been holding me down for a minute, like
Don't let me down (Down), don't let me drown
Holdin' me down (Down, down)
Holdin' me down (Down, down) (Woo, woo)
Holdin' me down (Down, down) (Ayy)
Holdin' me down (Down, down) (Yeah-yeah-yeah, ayy, yeah-yeah-yeah)
