The Presets sono un duo australiano di Sydney formato da Julian Hamilton e Kim Moyes. I due si sono incontrati nel 1995 al Sydney Conservatorium of Music, dove entrambi studiavano musica. Nel settembre 2005 hanno pubblicato il loro album di debutto, "Beams", che ha ricevuto una risposta critica positiva. Il loro secondo album, "Apocaylpso", è stato rilasciato il 12 aprile 2008. L'album è diventato un successo commerciale e critico, vincendo i premi ARIA per "Best Dance Release" e "Best Group", diventando il primo atto elettronico a vincere il prestigioso premio "Album of the Year". Hanno anche vinto i premi APRA del 2009 per "Best Songwriters Of The Year" e l'ARIA Award del 2009 per Best Dance Release per "Talk Like That".
