(Intro)
As we proceed to give you what you need
Let’s take 'em back to school
Take 'em back to school
As we proceed to give you what you need
Mia Rey motherfucker
(Verse 1)
Back when we ate on 95th street
I was lil DMX playing sweet beats
Lord knows now a nigger on the road
Doing shows , wrote a few songs for ushie dogs this week
See, they’re counting me up, now they gotta count me in
Who I fuck tonight well that all depends
Cuts with all the molly and it's looking at my body
I can get my dick sucked before I count to ten.
Yeah! Let the beat rock work the pit rock
And mix my drums right like Dre on detox
My bars is cream crop hard as shit rock
Tryna box me out the game, nigger, please stop!
It's like Marty Bowen rocking Carincha
Or Doug E. Fresh hitting the stage no beatbox
That body super head in the crib for three shots
And on the third one she was like
Let me go!
(Chorus)
Maybe you are
All that I ever dreamt
I know, know, know, know, know
Maybe you are
The reason I don't need
I know, know, know, know, know
(Verse 2)
Back in the other days when I carried hemmies
I was only tryin' to scramble for the finner things
Feeding my family like on a big set
It was just a dream to read word up magazine
No mean to get you heard up for that magazine
Too fly, run DMC was rocking bling gold
Day to day slick, threy threw me on the can goals
I'm cooling out with youngsters , knowing my time
Being around the corner I'm knowing I'm gonna get mine
From a fist full of dollars an outie impala
Screaming I'm a baron who the fuck wanna problem
You know it's your law magnificent, just a percent
If I don’t do it to the fullest, don’t no one give a shit
Now I’m on in the old team formed like Voltron
Hollywood respect the jury on both arms
Flying out the country , getting it
God damn right, you know I’m living it
I work for and she didn't
(Chorus)
Maybe you are
All that I ever dreamt
I know, know, know, know, know
Maybe you are
The reason I don't need
I know, know, know, know, know
Il testo YOU ARE di MIA REY è presente anche nell'album My moment (chapter 1) (2013)
