August Anthony Alsina Jr., noto semplicemente come August Alsina, è un cantante e rapper statunitense nato a New Orleans, Louisiana, il 3 settembre 1992. Iniziò la sua carriera musicale all'età di 14 anni pubblicando mixtape indipendenti. Nel 2014 raggiunse la fama nazionale con l'album di debutto "Testimony", che includeva il singolo di successo "I Luv This Shit".
