Trouble è una band americana di doom metal considerata uno dei pionieri del genere, insieme a gruppi come Candlemass e Saint Vitus. La band ha creato uno stile distintivo prendendo spunto dai heavy metal britannici Black Sabbath e Judas Priest e dal rock psichedelico degli anni '70. Criticamente accolta, la loro prima opera, "Psalm 9", e il secondo album, "The Skull", sono considerati pietre miliari del doom metal, mentre le uscite all'inizio degli anni '90 su Def American hanno preso una direzione più stoner metal. Dopo sei album in studio e tour negli Stati Uniti ed Europa, Trouble si è sciolta nel 1996, ma si è riunita sei anni dopo per pubblicare il settimo album in studio su Escapi Music.
