Desaster è una band tedesca di black/thrash metal formatasi a Koblenz nel 1988. Le loro canzoni affrontano temi come guerra, odio e satanismo, influenzando numerosi gruppi black metal. Considerati un'importante realtà del genere, Desaster hanno pubblicato diversi album in carriera, tra cui "The Serpent's Chalice" (1996) e "The 6th Sacrament" (2003).
