You didn't need to tell me you were someone
I already thought you were the right one
I lived to watch you dancing in the falling sun
Press rewind
Everybody knew that we were way back
Sitting on a blanket with a six pack
One mistake I made was I was thinking that
You were mine
Fire, beaches, summer nights
Laying in your amber light
Nothing in the world's okay
But you made everything alright
Underneath the stars at night
Felt like it would be alright
Troubled world is out of sight
When I was in your amber light
17 or 70, I don't care
I just wanna go back to that night there
Smell the bonfire smoke in your hair
One more time
Maybe I was caught up in the fireworks
Or stuck inside the moment of you being first
I guess that never loving you would be worse
I'll be fine
Fire, beaches, summer nights
Laying in your amber light
Nothing in the world's okay
But you made everything alright
Underneath the stars at night
Felt like it would be alright
Troubled world is out of sight
When I was in your amber light
What you don't understand
Is I been searching everywhere for all my life
To feel the way I did that night
Fire, beaches, summer nights
Laying in your amber light
Nothing in the world's okay
But you made everything alright
Underneath the stars at night
Felt like it would be alright
Troubled world was out of sight
When I was in your amber light
What you don't understand
Is I been searching everywhere for all my life
To feel the way I did that night
Underneath the stars at night
Felt like it would be alright
Troubled world was out of sight
When I was in your amber light
Can you feel that?
That's my heart breaking
