Axel Rudi Pell è un chitarrista e compositore tedesco di heavy metal, nato a Düsseldorf nel 1960. Inizia la sua carriera musicale negli anni '80 con diverse band locali prima di formare il suo gruppo omonimo nel 1989. Axel Rudi Pell si distingue per il suo stile chitarristico virtuosistico e melodico, influenzato da artisti come Ritchie Blackmore e Yngwie Malmsteen. Il suo sound è caratterizzato da riff heavy, melodie orecchiabili e un'atmosfera epica. Tra i brani più rappresentativi di Axel Rudi Pell figurano "The Time Machine", "Lady of the Lake" e "Into the Night". Nel corso della sua carriera ha pubblicato oltre 20 album in studio, collaborando con diversi musicisti di spicco del panorama metal internazionale.
