Eric Victor Burdon (Newcastle upon Tyne, 11 maggio 1941) è un cantante britannico di genere rock and roll, blues e soul. Noto soprattutto per essere stato il frontman degli Animals dal 1962 al 1966, ha poi collaborato con diversi artisti come War e Steve Winwood. Burdon ha contribuito a definire l'anima del British Invasion negli anni '60, portando un sound blues rock potente e carismatico. I suoi brani più famosi includono "House of the Rising Sun", "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" e "We Gotta Get Out of This Place". Dopo la sua esperienza con gli Animals, Burdon ha continuato a registrare album di successo come solista e con War, mantenendo un'attiva presenza nel mondo musicale fino ai giorni nostri.
