Tvangeste è un gruppo musicale di symphonic black metal russo formatosi nel 1997. Il nome del gruppo deriva dalla parola slava antica che significa "sguardo" o "visione". La musica dei Tvangeste è caratterizzata da atmosfere cupe e malinconiche, con influenze classiche e folk russe. Le loro composizioni sono spesso lunghe e complesse, con un'intensa attenzione ai dettagli orchestrali. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "The Shadow of the Past", "Winter's Embrace" e "Through the Veil of Time". Tvangeste ha pubblicato diversi album in studio, tra cui "The Black Sun" (2001) e "The Serpent's Crown" (2005), che hanno riscosso un discreto successo nel panorama del black metal symphonic.
