Marianas Trench è un gruppo musicale pop rock canadese formatosi a Vancouver nel 2001. Il nome del gruppo prende spunto dalla Fossa delle Marianne, la più profonda depressione oceanica del pianeta. Il sound di Marianas Trench si caratterizza per una combinazione di melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e arrangiamenti che spaziano dal pop al rock alternativo. Tra i brani più noti del gruppo figurano "What If", "Staring at the Sun" e "The Sound of Madness". Marianas Trench ha pubblicato diversi album di successo, tra cui l'album d'esordio omonimo (2006), "Masterpiece Theatre" (2012) e "Phantoms" (2015).
