I Mavericks sono una band americana di musica country formatasi a Miami, in Florida, nel 1989. Il loro sound, caratterizzato da un'abile fusione di country tradizionale e rock, con influenze latine derivanti dal cantante Raul Malo, ha conquistato il pubblico negli anni '90. La band ha venduto oltre quattro milioni di dischi, ottenendo tre Academy of Country Music Awards, due Country Music Associations Award e un Grammy Award. Tra i loro brani più rappresentativi figurano "What a Crying Shame", "All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down" e "Dance the Night Away". L'album "From Hell to Paradise" (1998) è considerato uno dei loro lavori più importanti.
