We were just young kids with a six pack
Pat:
That a bad fake I'd bought.
We were just dumb kids
Sittin' on the living room couch
With a 6 pack
Hopin that we didn't get caught
That bad fake I'd I bought
And when we did, my dad
Sitting on the living room couch
Had some good advice for me
Hoping that we didn't get caught
He said Son, there's a time and place
For just about everything
Brad:
It's called College
And when we did my dad had some good advice for me
He said son there's a time & place for just about everything
Next thing I know I'm packing up
Its called college
And headin on out of here.
A backseat full of clothes,
Next thing I know im packin up
And my old cavalier
And hey im outta here
And there's empty pizza boxes
A backseat full of clothes
Stacked all around the room
In my old cavalier
Couple of beers on a Tuesday
Pat:
And one in the afternoon
There was empty pizza boxes
Hey, college
Stacked around the room
A couple of bears on Tuesday
Those were the best days of my life
And one in the afternoon
I found my friends, myself, and my wife.
Hey, college
Learned almost everything that I know
Without ever gaining knowledge
Brad:
In college....yeah college
Those were the best days of my life
I found my friends myself and my wife
I had suck a good time those four years
That I stretched them into six.
Pat:
And I'd like to thank ole George's Bar
I learned almost everything I know
For the the classes that I missed
Without ever gaining knowledge
I was searching for the meaning of life
When I saw her walk my way.
Brad:
There was not doubt in my my mind
In college
That it wasn't about a GPA
In college
Those were the best days of my life
I had such a good time in those 4 years
I found my friends, myself, and my wife.
That I stretched it into 6
Learned almost everything that I know
Without ever gaining knowledge
Pat:
In college....yeah college.

Those were the best days of my life
I found my , myself, my friends and my wife.

Learned almost everything I know
Might have gained a little knowledge
