Attivo dal 2004, ha raggiunto la fama internazionale con il suo stile musicale che fonde reggaeton, hip hop e musica latina. Tra i suoi brani più famosi figurano "No Te Quiero", "La Noche" e "Dile Que Tu Me Quieres". De La Ghetto è noto per le sue collaborazioni con artisti come Daddy Yankee, Wisin and Yandel e Zion and Lennox.
