Northern State è un gruppo musicale femminile di genere hip-hop/indie rock originario di New York, Stati Uniti. Il gruppo è composto da Julie "Hesta Prynn" Potash, Correne "Spero" (precedentemente "Guinea Love", a causa delle sue origini italiane) Spero e Robyn "Sprout" Goodmark. Il nome del gruppo deriva dal Northern State Parkway, una delle autostrade di Long Island, New York.
