So what if I said, “You're full of it”
You'd come back and bite me, I'm sure of it
See, I'm good at telling the truth
And you're not good at taking it
So I guess, it's not the?best
But?it's?easiest to leave?you with that
Doesn't?help you, but helps me
And that's where we're at, basically
That's where we're at, basically
'Cause I'm hearin' ya, but you're not hearin' me back
Oh, it's harder to make peace when you're already under attack
I'm hearin' ya, but you're not hearin' me back
So I'm done, think your thoughts, we'll just leave it at that
The way I see it, the way out is communication
That's the frustration, you won't even listen
Yeah, you're sayin' I'm this and I'm sayin' I'm not
And if you don't see, I don't know where the fuck I went wrong
I'm being told I'm something
Regardless of what I try and show
And have shown since day dot
I think you might have just forgot
I think you might have just forgot
'Cause I'm hearin' ya, but you're not hearin' me back
Oh, it's harder to make peace when you're already under attack
I'm hearin' ya, but you're not hearin' me back
So I'm done, think your thoughts, we'll just leave it at that
So there goes that, I'm so over this hiding things and feelings
I never expected the worst, but it turns out you did
Tried to be honest and just got told I was lying
I'm sorry, you don't get it, I'm over trying
'Cause I'm hearin' ya, but you're not hearin' me back
Oh, it's harder to make peace when you're already under attack
I'm hearin' ya, but you're not hearin' me back
So I'm done, think your thoughts, we'll just leave it at that
I'm so done, you can think your thoughts, we'll just leave it at that
