EPMD, acronimo di Erick and Parrish Making Dollars, è un duo hip hop newyorkese attivo a partire dalla metà degli anni '80. Considerati uno dei gruppi più importanti dell'East Coast hip hop, hanno lasciato un segno indelebile nella storia del genere. Il loro album di debutto del 1988, *Strictly Business*, è considerato un classico e contiene il brano omonimo che campionava "I Shot The Sheriff" di Eric Clapton. Il loro secondo album, *Unfinished Business* (1989), ha ricevuto anch'esso recensioni entusiastiche. Entrambe le opere hanno venduto oltre mezzo milione di copie ciascuna. Tra i brani più rappresentativi del duo ricordiamo "Strictly Business", "Headbanger", e "So Whatcha Want".
