Four Year Strong è una band americana di melodic hardcore originaria di Worcester, Massachusetts. Formatasi nel 2001, il gruppo è composto da Dan O'Connor e Alan Day (vokalisti e chitarristi), Joe Weiss (bassista), Josh Lyford (tastierista e cori) e Jackson Massucco (batteria). Considerati uno dei pilastri del movimento emo-hardcore degli anni 2000, Four Year Strong si distingue per la combinazione di riff energici, melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi che affrontano temi come l'adolescenza, le relazioni e la ricerca di identità. Tra i loro brani più rappresentativi figurano "It Must Feel So Good to Be a Gangster", "Famous Last Words" e "The Latest Mistake". L'album "Rise or Die Trying" (2007) ha segnato un punto di svolta nella carriera della band, raggiungendo il successo mainstream e consolidando la loro posizione nel panorama musicale alternativo.
