If they tell you I came up from nothing then know that they tellin' the truth
If they told you I been in the trenches believe 'em they tellin' the truth
If they told you I came from the back of the tracks then they tellin' the truth
If they told you that I wouldn't have ya back then they lied to you
If they told you that I use to slang thangs then they tellin' the truth
If they tell you I stay with the bang gang then they tellin' the truth
If they tellin' you some of the fame changed me they tellin' the truth
If they tell you that I ain't a hunnid, nigga, then they lied to you
Still got the mud on my shoes
They just talkin', I done been through it
Where I'm from these niggas been shootin'
So you know I don't care 'bout no fuckin' rumors
Can't nobody tell on me, I beat 'em to it
Eat my cabbage up and I'ma never chew it two times
No excuses, I'ma stand up for mine
I work too hard so I'm having my way up
Day after day I be stackin' my chedda and paypa
I took yo bitch and I had her fuckin' in the Days Inn
If you ever wanna know the code it's "Fuck you, nigga, pay me"
Hand me my currency currently, you know that money is time
If they tell you I came up from nothing then know that they tellin' the truth (Truth)
If they told you I been in the trenches believe 'em they tellin' the truth (Truth)
If they told you I came from the back of the tracks then they tellin' the truth (Truth)
If they told you that I wouldn't have ya back then they lied to you

If they tellin' you some of the fame changed me they tellin' the truth (Truth)
If they tell you that I ain't a hunnid nigga then they lied to you
Gettin' money been the mission
Snipin' the bag, I got great precision
Know that all of my niggas got great ambition
Usin' all of our faith and our intuition
Nigga, we beat the odds
We beat the block
Took them bricks and we built us a squad
On God, takin' no days off
I work too hard so I'm having my way up
Day after day I be stackin' my chedda and paypa
I took yo bitch and I had her fuckin' in the Days Inn
If you ever wanna know the code it's "Fuck you, nigga, pay me"
Hand me my currency currently you know that money is time
