Big L, pseudonimo di Lamont Coleman (1974-1999), è stato un rapper statunitense considerato uno dei più talentuosi e influenti del genere hip hop hardcore. Nato a Harlem, New York, Big L iniziò la sua carriera musicale negli anni '90, collaborando con artisti come Jay-Z e Mobb Deep. Il suo stile rap era caratterizzato da rime intricate, velocità di flusso e un flow unico. Big L è noto per brani come "M.V.P.", "Ebonics" e "Lifestyle", contenuti nell'album postumo "The Big Picture". La sua carriera fu purtroppo interrotta prematuramente a causa di un tragico omicidio nel 1999, lasciando un vuoto significativo nella scena hip hop.
