Halifax è un gruppo musicale indie rock canadese formatosi nel 2003 a Toronto. Il gruppo è composto da: Brendan Canning (voce, chitarra), Jake Goldbas (chitarra), Matt Kelly (basso) e Zachary Gray (batteria). Halifax ha pubblicato diversi album di successo, tra cui "A Writer's Reference" (2004), "The Morning After" (2006) e "In the Wild" (2013). Il loro stile musicale è caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e un sound energico. Halifax ha collaborato con artisti come Broken Social Scene e Stars.
