Sigh è un gruppo musicale giapponese di genere avant-garde metal/black metal, attivo dal 1990. Fondato da Mirai Kawashima, la band è considerata una delle più influenti nel panorama del metal estremo nipponico. Il loro sound si caratterizza per l'utilizzo di elementi classici, jazz e progressive rock, mescolati a sonorità black metal e death metal. Sigh ha pubblicato numerosi album in studio, tra cui "Scorn Defeat" (1997), "Imaginary Sonicscape" (2003) e "Graveward" (2015). Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Shiki no Uta", "The End of the World" e "A Song for the Dead". La band ha collaborato con artisti come Merzbow e Boris, contribuendo a definire l'identità del metal giapponese underground.
