Paramore è una band rock americana formatasi a Franklin, nel Tennessee, nel 2004. Il nucleo originale era composto da Hayley Williams (voce), Josh Farro (chitarra) e Zac Farro (batteria). Il loro debutto discografico, *All We Know Is Falling*, risale al 2005 e ha segnato l'inizio di una carriera costellata da successi. Il secondo album, *Riot!*, del 2007, li ha catapultati verso la fama internazionale grazie a brani come «Misery Business» e «Crushcrushcrush». Nel corso degli anni, i Paramore hanno attraversato diverse fasi stilistiche, passando dal pop-punk al rock alternativo. Il loro terzo album, *Brand New Eyes*, del 2009, ha consolidato il loro successo, mentre *Paramore* (2013) ha segnato un nuovo capitolo con una sonorità più elettronica. Dopo un periodo di pausa, la band è tornata nel 2016 con l'album *After Laughter*, che ha esplorato temi come la depressione e l'ansia. Nel 2023 hanno pubblicato il loro ultimo lavoro, *This Is Why*. I Paramore sono considerati uno dei gruppi rock più influenti degli ultimi anni, grazie alla potenza vocale di Hayley Williams e alla loro capacità di evolversi musicalmente.
Nella terza edizione di "Nuova Scena", talent dedicato al mondo rap in onda su Netflix, si sono aggiudicati la vittoria i cosentini Flextony e Tigerplug.

E' prevista per la prossima estate l'uscita del docufilm "Iron Maiden's Lost Singer", che riguarda Paul Di'Anno, cantante degli Iron Maiden dal 1978 al 1981, che è venuto a mancare a fine 2024.
