Dark Suns è una band tedesca di progressive metal formatasi nel 1997. Il gruppo, composto dagli chitarristi Maik Knappe e Torsten Wenzel, dal cantante e batterista Niko Knappe (fratello di Maik), ha pubblicato un demo, un EP e tre album in studio fino al 2009. Il loro sound si caratterizza per la complessità musicale tipica del genere progressive metal, con influenze che spaziano dal power metal all'heavy metal sinfonico. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Last Stand", "Eternal Flame" e "Whispers of the Past".
Il comparto sonoro è uno degli elementi più importanti ma meno notati nel mondo del videogioco.
