Vital Remains è una band di death metal americana proveniente da Providence, Rhode Island. Formatasi nel 1988, il gruppo ha contribuito a definire l'evoluzione del genere con un sound brutale e tecnico, caratterizzato da riff veloci e distorti, batteria potente e growl gutturali.
