Big D and the Kids Table è una band ska di terza generazione formatasi ad Allston, Massachusetts, nell'ottobre 1995 quando i suoi membri si sono incontrati all'università. La loro prima uscita è stata sul loro etichetta discografica indipendente Fork In Hand Records, ma hanno collaborato in seguito con Springman Records e SideOneDummy. La band è nota per il suo rigoroso lavoro fai-da-te, che include la registrazione, la produzione e l'uscita dei propri album e video, oltre alla promozione autonoma dei propri concerti. Il loro sound ska si caratterizza per un mix di energia punk rock e melodie orecchiabili, con testi spesso ironici e satirici.
