Busted è un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi a Londra nel 2002. Il trio, composto da Mattie Jay, James Bourne e Charlie Simpson, ha raggiunto il successo con un mix di pop-punk e sonorità boy band, influenzato da artisti come BBMak, Boyzone, blink-182 e Good Charlotte. Il loro album d'esordio omonimo (2002) ha generato tre singoli di successo, tra cui "You Said No (Crash and Burn)", che ha raggiunto la vetta delle classifiche britanniche. Il secondo album, *Present for Everyone* (2003), ha visto un approccio più rock con influenze da Simple Plan. Busted è stato nominato per i Brit Awards nel 2004 come Best British Group, Best British Breakthrough Artist e Best Pop Act. Nel 2005, Charlie Simpson ha lasciato il gruppo per dedicarsi ad altri progetti musicali (Fightstar), portando alla scioglimento di Busted. James Bourne ha formato Son of Dork, mentre Mattie Jay si è concentrato su lavori solisti.
