U-God, pseudonimo di Lamont Jody Hawkins, è un rapper statunitense nato a New York nel 1970. È membro fondatore del leggendario collettivo hip hop Wu-Tang Clan, noto per aver rivoluzionato il panorama musicale degli anni '90 con un sound crudo e innovativo. U-God si distingue per le sue rime dense e intricate, spesso caratterizzate da una forte componente narrativa.
