Prong è un gruppo musicale statunitense di genere industrial metal, formatosi a New York nel 1986 da Tommy Victor (voce, chitarra) e Ted Parsons (batteria). Considerati pionieri dell'industrial metal, hanno influenzato numerose band successive con il loro sound aggressivo e sperimentale. Nel corso degli anni, la formazione è cambiata diverse volte, ma Victor rimane l'unico membro originale ancora presente. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Snap Your Fingers", "Beg to Differ" e "Cut Rate". L'album di debutto "Force of Habit" (1989) ha segnato un punto di svolta per il genere, introducendo elementi hardcore punk all'industrial metal. Prong continua ad essere attivo fino ai giorni nostri, pubblicando nuovi album e tournèe in tutto il mondo.
