-PRESIDENT OF THE STAIRWELL-
"I used to be a broken old man
Throwing garbage from my living can
'Til one day it was do or die and do died
I left a note and signed it 'Genocide'
I woke up to the sound of violins
They played me right into the President
of the Greatest Corporation in the Heavens
It's ever growing, over-flowing, juiced and leavened
Oh! It's like living in a dream
To be living on the city
For the living there's no pity
So has the ladder's got you down, you need a surefire ticket to the top?
Just organize a quick farewell
Your family's now your clientele
We'll meet you on the Up and Over Stairwell!"
-LITTLE BOY LISTENING TO THE RADIO-
"I've got to get up to the stairwell Ma
I've taken the whole darn vial
They're waiting for me on the stairwell Ma
But I've still got a little while
I want to tell you that I'd rather be giant in the air
Than a fool down here
And even though you say it's a shame, I'm taking the blame
And I'm already a million miles away! Woo Hoo!"
-CHORUS OF RECENTLY DISPATCHED SOULS-
"We're going Up and Over!
We're going Up and Over!
No Complications!
No Reservations!
Body and Mind!"
-PRESIDENT OF THE STAIRWELL-
"Welcome to the Stairwell my friends
Here's hoping that you reached a happy end
We don't have names here only corporations
And thanks to you we now have new cooperation!
We'd like to think we're better than Hell
With stronger profits and less personnel
The sky's the limit baby and you're in it
So don a suit, and take a place amongst our stellar group"
("Now just stand there amongst the group, that man with the camera over there is going to take your picture. Just lift your chest up, raise your voice, and sing it!")
-EVERYONE-
"Oh! It's like living in a dream
To be living on the city
For the living there's no pity
We'll take they're souls, we'll buy and sell
To lightness and darkness in heaven and hell
They're so valuable!
We wish 'em well, we wish 'em well
But afterlife's a living hell
Unless you're on the Up and Over Stairwell!"
SEE YA LATER!
