Hanson è un gruppo pop-rock statunitense formato dai fratelli Isaac (chitarra), Taylor (tastiere) e Zac Hanson (batteria). Dopo aver pubblicato due album indipendenti, *Boomerang* (1995) e *MMMBop* (1996), hanno firmato con la Mercury Records. Nel 1997 hanno rilasciato il loro album di debutto per l'etichetta, *Middle of Nowhere*, quando il fratello minore aveva solo 11 anni. L'album includeva brani dai loro due album precedenti e nuove canzoni, tra cui il singolo di successo mondiale "MMMBop", che ha raggiunto la vetta delle classifiche in quasi tutti i paesi in cui è stato pubblicato.
