Blues Traveler è un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi nel 1987 a Princeton, New Jersey. Il loro genere musicale principale è il blues rock, con influenze di folk e jam band. La formazione originale includeva John Popper (voce, armonica), Chan Kinchla (chitarra), Tad Kinchla (basso) e Brendan Hill (batteria). Blues Traveler ha raggiunto la fama internazionale nel 1994 con il loro quarto album, *Four*, che ha venduto più di quattro milioni di copie negli Stati Uniti. L'album ha generato due successi commerciali: "Hook" e "Run Around", quest'ultima vincitrice del Grammy Award per la migliore performance vocale rock da duo o gruppo nel 1996.
