Esham, pseudonimo di Rashaam Attica Smith, è un rapper statunitense attivo dal 1989. Conosciuto per il suo stile di hip hop definito "acid rap", Esham fonde beat influenzati dal rock con testi che affrontano temi controversi come suicidio, morte, droga, violenza, paranoia e sesso. La sua musica spesso presenta una vena oscura e disturbante, caratterizzata da un flow aggressivo e rime intricate. Tra i suoi album più noti figurano "Closed Chapters" (1992) e "The World is a Ghetto" (1994). Esham è considerato uno degli artisti pionieri dell'acid rap, influenzando generazioni di rapper underground.
