Featuring Akon
(Intro)
Akon and Ca$h, yea
Who walk on this
(Pre-Chorus)
My life ain’t nothing to play with
Ain’t nothing to wanna act out
And if you hate me
Ain’t nothing for me to come pull them acts off
Been around this ghetto shit all my life
And I don’t have a plan to stop now.
See I’m deeply rooted in every hood
And I’ma show you how we get down
(Chorus)
Around my way, I’ma show you how we get down
Around my way, see I’ma show you how we get down
Around my way, I’ma show you how we get down
Around my way, see I’ma show you how we get down
(Verse)
I wake up, thank God and grab my heat
I’m on my grind, I ain’t changed clothes in a week,
My trap bam in a line around the corner
We got it all, white dro in Arizona
See my life is like a movie, a movie,
No, this ain’t no fairytale,
Niggas really tryin to do me, do me
The choppas send em straight to hell
I keep a gun and I know I gotta bust first
And freeze up in your ass and you end up in the hearse,
Fuck stuntin, I ride rental cars every day
A nigga know you real and he know where you stay
You can get robbed thrown in the trunk and dumped on the side of the highway
I don’t know about yall but this is how it goes down around my way
(Pre-Chorus)
My life ain’t nothing to play with
Ain’t nothing to wanna act out
And if you hate me
Ain’t nothing for me to come pull them acts off
Been around this ghetto shit all my life
And I don’t have a plan to stop now.
See I’m deeply rooted in every hood
And I’ma show you how we get down
(Chorus)
Around my way, I’ma show you how we get down
Around my way, see I’ma show you how we get down
Around my way, I’ma show you how we get down
Around my way, see I’ma show you how we get down
(Verse)
Money on my mind, I’m trying to stack bread
I know they’re taking pictures, I post for the feds
They tryin’ to light me up, I know they wish they could
‘Cause one snitch can ruin the whole neighborhood,
I’m in the cemetery dunk, we can bam in yo trunk
I know they’re watching me
Diamonds all in my chain and my pockets got the loots
Got yo girl stalkin me
You gotta watch upon the jack boys that gon lurk
If you don’t give em what they want then they gonna murk
My money getting low, I gotta make a move,
Had to rail, had to run up on one of you fools
You can get robbed thrown in the trunk and dumped on the side of the highway
I don’t know about yall but this is how it goes down around my way
(Pre-Chorus)
My life ain’t nothing to play with
Ain’t nothing to wanna act out
And if you hate me
Ain’t nothing for me to come pull them acts off
Been around this ghetto shit all my life
And I don’t have a plan to stop now.
See I’m deeply rooted in every hood
And I’ma show you how we get down
(Chorus)
Around my way, I’ma show you how we get down
Around my way, see I’ma show you how we get down
Around my way, I’ma show you how we get down
Around my way, see I’ma show you how we get down
(Bridge)
To all my niggas on the street corners
Put your 40 ounce up
Let’s pour it up for those who ain’t here
When all the earth just drink it on up
‘Cause I’ve been there and I’ve been down
Watch the strongest men hit the ground
That’s just all what I’ve seen in this lifetime
Let me break it down just one time.
(Pre-Chorus)
My life ain’t nothing to play with
Ain’t nothing to wanna act out
And if you hate me
Ain’t nothing for me to come pull them acts off
Been around this ghetto shit all my life
And I don’t have a plan to stop now.
See I’m deeply rooted in every hood
And I’ma show you how we get down
(Chorus)
Around my way, I’ma show you how we get down
Around my way, see I’ma show you how we get down
Around my way, I’ma show you how we get down
Around my way, see I’ma show you how we get down
