Phil Vassar è un cantautore statunitense nato a New York nel 1962. Esponente della musica country, ha raggiunto il successo negli anni '90 con brani come "Just Another Day in Paradise" e "Carlene". La sua musica è caratterizzata da melodie orecchiabili, testi romantici e un tocco di pop. Oltre a cantare, Vassar è anche un abile chitarrista e compositore, collaborando con artisti come Tim McGraw e Kenny Chesney.
