Man (Ayy, ayy, ayy)
Shit, damn
Mmm, uh
Al, turn me up, uh
Mmm, bad, uh
Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy
Started out at Riverdale, moms flew me from the Bay
When I was young, used to hate it
And grew up, then I thanked her
Far away from my pops, thinkin' 'bout that gray McLaren
I can shed a tear on these tracks, you wouldn't understand it
Gramps had the Candy House, Margie's on Harbor Road
Still eat me inside that I missed her funeral
I know she lookin' down on me while I'm in this 5.0
(For sure I'm in the old days) I can't lie, man, my mind gone
I was in a dark place, went hard and found a way
Livin' out them motels, cold nights on the blade
(I knew that life wasn't for me) But still I took a chance
Twelve hours on the interstate then profit ten bands
Calculate another dub, back then my goal was a hundred
Had to the hit the ground runnin', prayin' nail hit the spot
I was goin' through a lot, it was nights I would cry
Probably why I push this black 'Rari down the I-5
What's happenin'?
Real niggas never quit, real niggas play the game
But got goals to go legit, real niggas stay on ten (Stay on ten)
We stay on ten (Stay on ten)
Run that back
Real niggas never quit, real niggas play the game
But got goals to go legit, real niggas stay on ten
(Stay on ten, stay on ten)
Hey, uh, Al, what's happenin'?
Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy
Yeah, I made it out the streets but still gotta watch my back
Road runnin', touch down safe then I set up trap
Thinkin' back, fresh outta jail, but I had the map, I had a plan
Second day home, made a couple grand
Pleasant Hill in a motel, [?]
I was gettin' rich in D.C. while you was [?]
I don't glamorize it, though, I was prayin' for a chain
Hit fifty burpees in the morning, then I bought the plane
Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy
Real niggas never quit, real niggas play the game
But got goals to go legit, real niggas stay on ten (Stay on ten)
We stay on ten (Stay on ten)
Run that back
Real niggas never quit, real niggas play the game
But got goals to go legit, real niggas stay on ten
(Stay on ten, stay on ten)
Yeah, uh
Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy
