Late-summer thunderclouds
Were hangin' low (Hangin' low)
Over the hospital
Rain went down the concrete walls
Like teardrops (Teardrops)
Runnin' down your face
Say, "I don't wanna live, I don't wanna die," blood on my hands
All this?time,?you've?been on my?mind, but you?don't understand
Nobody should feel the way you feel right now
Soon, you will be home, it will pass like a bad-weather front
Thunderclouds on your mind
Swallowing up all the lights
All the lights, I'd be here
Standin' right behind those walls
Never have I felt so small
I hope that tomorrow, you'll be better
Tomorrow, you'll feel better
'Cause nothing hurts forever
Every time I visit you
You talk about (Talk about)
Just how much you hate this place
And I answer every time
That nobody (Nobody)
Nobody likes hospitals
I don't wanna live, I don't wanna die, blood on my hands
All this time, you've been on my mind, but you don't understand
Nobody should feel the way you feel right now
Soon, you will be home, it will pass like a bad-weather front
Thunderclouds on your mind
Swallowing up all the lights
All the lights, I'd be here
Standin' right behind those walls
Never have I felt so small
I hope that tomorrow, you'll be better
Tomorrow, you'll feel better
'Cause nothing hurts forever
You used to say, "The end is near"
And I thought it was just not your year
Let me tell you a secret, we can find a way
Together till the end of all days
(Together till the end of all days)
(All days, together till the end of all days)
Say, thunderclouds on your mind
Swallowing up all the lights
All the lights, I'd be here
Standin' right behind those walls
Never have I felt so small
I hope tomorrow, you'll be better
Tomorrow, you'll feel better
'Cause nothin' hurts forever
