(Verse 1)
If you rappers the new Pac nigga meet the new Biggie
My heart is still recovering was torn between 2 cities
Know I run this town solely because the shoe fits me
Guaranteed, when I do blow I bring the crew with me
Nigga I don't shoot with me this is just a natural high
Grasping opportunities while y'all just let 'em pass you by
We in to making history no room to fraternize
To keep up with the next they spend a fortune though I'm stacking mine, real shit
Finally got a custom to the lows and the highs from the pavement
Who knew that a rose would arise
Between dreams and real life , my flows in-between
I got shoes that have a ache and till I go at any time
I'm on my independent grind and they question why I ain't signed yet
'Cause money isn't everything my nigga I declined cheques
Skeptics unsure if I'ma blow or not, buy brick
Comparing me to great and I ain't even hit my prime yet
(Hook)
I used to be afraid to fail
I rather sit back and watch another shine
Who would've thought the same page as well
Finally got familiar with the otherside
The otherside, otherside
I had to get familiar with the otherside
The otherside,the otherside
I had to get familiar with the otherside
Otherside oh hooo
Had to get familiar with the otherside
Otherside, the otherside
(Verse 2)
Young kind who is so ambitious
Hated on by the same niggas that no one mentions
It's been a lonely walk on the road to riches
I made it happen on my own , no code offending
Formed a coalition now we're in the biz
Stacking cash when niggas hate 'cause they ain't who we get it with
Cats is only genius when they see they can benefit
The city showing me the type of love you can't pretend to give
The future, I'm envisioning hours
I'm killing these rappers send their bitches some flowers
Most of my niggas either dead or sitting in prisons
And every time I wish that heaven had visiting hours
Regarding the new school they lookin at me to lead the shit
Word to hip hop, I eat ,sleep and breathe this shit
Don't believe the hype even when it seems legit
Believe in your dreams and in people that you achieve 'em with
(Hook)
I used to be afraid to fail
I rather sit back and watch another shine
Who would've thought the same page as well
Finally got familiar with the otherside
The otherside, otherside
I had to get familiar with the otherside
The otherside,the otherside
I had to get familiar with the otherside
Otherside oh hooo
Had to get familiar with the otherside
Otherside, the otherside
